‘Trends Saj Parbon’ is a unique event that celebrates the enthusiasm of the people of Bengal and the festivities of Durga Pujo by dressing their best during the festivities. ‘Trends Saj Parbon’ celebrates the vibrant spirit of Durga Pujo by empowering people to dive into the festive fervour of Bengal’s most awaited festival by doing what they do best – dress up and look their trendy best during the festival.

The contest enables people to be unique in their fashion sense and allows them to show off their style. The ‘paras’ (neighbourhoods) dress up and put their best fashion foot forward, flaunting 5 looks for 5 days of Durga Pujo. Dressing and styling reflect different nuances of pujo, for example, pandal hopping during Saptami or adda nights on Nabami.

For ‘Saj Parbon’, 44 paras were selected across Bengal from 500 paras and 2 RWAs were selected from 50 RWAs. 14 celebrities from Tollywood travelled far and wide on the occasion of Mahalaya to judge the paras who put up their best show in terms of fashion. Ishaa Saha, Devlina Kumar, Tanusree Chakraborty, Priyanka Sarkar, Joyjit Banerjee, Darshana Banik, Gourab Chakraborty, Srijla Guha, Swastika Dutta, Bibriti Chatterjee, Sauraseni Maitra, Ushasi Ray, Sampurna Lahiri, Anindya Chatterjee were the ones to grace the occasion. They judged each para on different parameters.

In retrospect, the individuals who excelled in showcasing their exceptional fashion prowess and captured the admiration of the audience were duly rewarded with enticing exciting gifts of 'Trends.' There are loads of attractive prizes to be won, including a grand prize of 1 lakh rupees for the winning para!

Here's the much awaited list of the winners of ‘Trends Saj Parbon’ 2023:

At the state level, the champion is Nabin Sangha Club of Ramphurhat city in Birbhum, Huchuk Para of Purulia secured the 1st runner-up. Chakravru Pragati Sangha in South Dinajpur's Balurghat city, is the 2nd runner-up.

The winners of 5-days 5-looks for Durga Puja contest have also been announced. Charaktala Sarbojanin Durgotsav of Baruipur-Amtala zone South 24 Parganas emerged in the Shashti category. Munshiganj Sarbojanin Durgotsav Committee of Purulia is the champion of Saptami. Arunaday Sangha of Siliguri is the winner of Ashtami category. Milani Sansad of Shrirampur, Hooghly, clinched the title for Nabami category. The champion of Dashami is Dhupguri Young Star (Madhyapara) Club in Jalpaiguri. The 'Active Para' category saw Medinipur's Heerak Samiti securing the championship.

The winner in the RWA category was Greenwood Park Extension Puja Committee of New Town in Kolkata. The second position in this category went to Merlin Fifth Avenue of New Town.
