Students from QMS - 'Our Lady Queen of the Missions School' wowed attendees on March 2, 2024, at the MuseVention Kolkata Tour with ground-breaking prototypes addressing global issues. From sustainability and disaster relief to healthcare and F1 racing, their innovations spanned diverse fields. The event, held at the New Town Business Club, Kolkata, attracted top entrepreneurs, industry captains, and thought leaders such as Mr. Debasish Sen, IAS (R), former Chairman of NKDA and Managing of HIDCO and Additional Chief Secretary and HOD of IT & Electronics, Government of West Bengal.

Following their successful showcase at the very first MuseVention Event held in India at the Science City on December 22, 2023, an ISR LIFE, USA initiative, where over 3000 attendees (including national and international figures) witnessed their innovations, students from QMS - 'Our Lady Queen of the Missions School' embarked on the MuseVention Kolkata Tour. This tour gives students a platform to display their creativity, interact with experts, and gain the inspiration to become future-ready.

"ISR LIFE, USA, is our valued partner in reshaping education through STEAM Experiential Learning. Together, we're transforming traditional approaches focused on rote memorization into an environment that ignites creativity, innovation, and practical problem-solving skills. By empowering our students with hands-on learning, real-world problem-solving, and technology integration, we're preparing them to thrive in the 21st century. This partnership represents a fundamental shift in our teaching philosophy, driving toward outcomes that truly equip our students for future success" said Sr. Rani Jacob, Principal of Our Lady Queen of the Missions School, Park Circus.

"MuseVention was envisioned to ignite the spark of innovation in young minds," explains Dr. George Panicker, Founder & CEO of ISR LIFE, USA. "Through hands-on sustainable STEAM learning, empowered by futuristic technologies, ISR equips K-12 students not only for academic success but also for holistic development. This approach fosters critical 21st-century skills and cultivates a culture of invention, preparing them to become future innovators, inventors, and entrepreneurs."

MuseVention Kolkata Tour: More than an event, it's a vibrant celebration of creativity, curiosity, and collaboration. Bridging the gap between education and industry, it showcases the culmination of students' two-year journey through ISR STEAM Experiential Learning. These students have integrated and applied classroom knowledge to real-world problem-solving, presenting innovative inventions powered by cutting-edge technologies like AI, robotics, and design thinking.

"Witnessing our students showcase their creative solutions with such confidence is truly inspiring. They embraced the challenge and persevered, demonstrating the power of learning without the fear of failure" said a Teacher of QMS.

MuseVention is a term that combines “Muse” and “Invention” to describe the creative spark that leads to inventing something new. A muse is a source of inspiration for artistic or intellectual work, often imagined as a divine or supernatural force that stimulates creativity. In ancient Greek culture, the Muses were nine goddesses who presided over the arts and sciences and inspired poets, musicians, and inventors.

“We are proud to empower and mentor these young minds to be Future-Ready. Our ISR programme helps schools to holistically develop Problem-Solvers through enquiry and research-based, hands-on Sustainable STEAM Experiential Learning embracing a multidisciplinary approach. We also contribute to 8 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations by fostering a culture of responsible invention, innovation, and entrepreneurship among students.” said Dr. George Panicker.

International STEAM Research (ISR) revolutionizes education with its focus on Sustainable Experiential Learning. ISR empowers students to become active learners, problem solvers, creative thinkers, and innovators. They equip schools with cutting-edge STEAM education, integrating futuristic technologies with classroom subjects and real-world contexts for a hands-on, future-focused learning experience.

Sr. Rani Jacob, the Principal of Our Lady Queen of the Missions School, Park Circus, expressed her delight at the participation of her students in the MuseVention Kolkata Tour. She said, "This event has ignited a new spirit of invention in our students, a mindset that will benefit them lifelong.
