Usually, when it comes to celebration of films, the level of enthusiasm knows no bounds.
During Durga Puja, one tends to explore variety so as to satiate their creative satisfaction.
One such endeavour was embarked upon by a Salt Lake Block Association that paid ode to 100 years of Indian Cinema on stage.
Conceptualised by Priyadarshini Guha, an active participant of activities under the aegis of the block, participants (all from the locality) were attired immaculately to fit into the respective segment.
Be it, Uttam-Suchitra or Amitabh Bachchan's Don or Raj Kapoor-Nargis' on-screen love saga, Sridevi's Na Jaane song sequence or Madhuri Dixit's Aaja Naachle act or Hrithik Roshan's Deva Shri Ganesha from Agneepath, the perfection with which the acts were portrayed deserve kudos.
And not to forget, Desi Girl from Dostana and Shah Rukh Khan's Baazigar and Om Shanti Om title song - each act was religiously planned and excecuted.
Meticulous research behind the scenes went into the creation and that showed at every step.
