In a dramatic twist, Bigg Boss 18 wildcard contestant Digvijay Singh Rathee was eliminated in the latest episode of the Salman Khan-hosted reality show, leaving his friends in the house devastated.
Chaahat Pandey, Karan Veer Mehra and Chum Darang blamed Shrutika Arjun for Rathee’s exit but the drama didn't stop there. Tempers soared and accusations flew when Avinash Mishra, Eisha Singh and Vivian Dsena called Chum a ‘fake’ contestant.
The latest episode saw Bigg Boss assigning a task to the housemates, asking them to nominate one contestant for eviction. Yamini Malhotra received votes from Chum, Karan and Chaahat. Eiden Rose was voted by Shilpa Shirodkar. The majority of the house, including Rajat Dalal, Vivian Dsena, Avinash Mishra, Sara, Arfeen Khan, Kashish Kapoor, Eisha Singh, Eiden, and Yamini, nominated Digvijay. As a result, Digvijay was evicted.
Following his elimination, emotions ran high. Chum Darang, in particular, expressed regret for supporting Shrutika in her bid to become Time God. Shrutika’s bungling of nominations task led to Digvijay's eviction, leaving Chum to wrestle with her feelings of betrayal.
In a heated exchange later on, Eisha, Avinash and Vivian were seen accusing Chum of being a 'fake' contestant. Vivian said, “You all think Chum is naive and innocent but in reality she is extremely sharp and brainy,” while Eisha nodded in agreement.
Avinash added fuel to the fire, stating, “Right now, the safest person in the Bigg Boss house — I know I will receive a lot of backlash for saying this out loud — is Chum.”
