MICAVaani, the community radio station of MICA, organised a mela in Shela and Telav villages near Ahmedabad, Gujarat, last week to promote and explain its new shows, which are being broadcast in 90.4 frequency in the villages.

The mela had fun games like Pick Pick Pikachu, feed the monster, balloon burst, tail the donkey along with a song-on-demand booth. The event was a great success among both the young and old. Known for spreading awareness on critical issues such as sanitation, education and hygiene, along with broadcasting programmes on interesting themes such as cookery, beauty, love, MICAVaani enjoys immense popularity in the villages surrounding the institute.
