Meet the speakers:
Roshan Abbas: Orator, storyteller, actor, TV and radio host, producer, event manager, creative director, film & theatre director, lyricist, angel investor, serial entrepreneur, author and public speaking coach — Abbas wears many hats. He is also the founder and managing director of Geometry Encompass, an experiential marketing agency, and a mentor-partner at The Glitch, a creative agency.
Dr. Jaseena Backer: A writer and a psychologist, Backer has been working with women's issues for 13 years. Her anecdotal blog Mahek & Me is a regular feature on social media and TV channels. A proud single parent, she has been helping with parenting issues across the globe. She manages a group of 13,000 sari lovers called Saree in Style on Facebook, where women discuss their love for sarees and their love for life.
Ashish Kulkarni: Founder of Punnaryug Artvision, Kulkarni is a well-known figure in animation. He is currently working on animation projects like War Heroes of India, Mary Kom Jr., Amazing Kids, Monkey Creek, and Map Jacket. He is Chairman of FICCI for the Animation, Visual Effects, Gaming, and Comics Forum, and also chairman of the MCCIA (Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries And Agriculture) Animation & Gaming committee. His work includes Little Krishna (2009), Shaktimaan (2011), and Krishna aur Kans (2012).
Dr. Stephen Quinn: A former journalist and journalism teacher for almost five decades in nine countries, Quinn makes videos and teaches people how to make videos with only a smartphone. He also writes screenplays for feature movies and short films, and writes and makes videos on wine. Quinn runs MOJO Media Insights (MMI), a digital consulting company based in Brighton, the UK.
Sonia Kulkarni: PR evangelist, managing partner of Hunk Golden & Media, a strategic PR and brand solutions agency, TEDx speaker, running enthusiast, and Pinkathon ambassador. Kulkarni founded #SheDares and The Saree Library and has been named among the top 100 most influential game-changers in the communication industry by BW & E4M.
Priyanka Matanhelia: Ph.D. in Journalism & Public Communication Academician and Consumer Research Consultant
Prof. Ujjwal K Chowdhury: The pro-vice-chancellor of Adamas University, Chowdhury is a leading media and communication academic. He was earlier the dean of media at Symbiosis University, Pune; Amity University, Mumbai; Whistling Woods International; and Pearl Academy of Delhi and Mumbai.
