The world of food and beverage is not only exciting but extremely competitive as well. One must be prepared to persevere, learn and stay ahead of the game to succeed. The hospitality management course at Institute of Advanced Management (IAM) seeks to help students do just that.

IAM’s global approach to hospitality management has helped students get placed in renowned companies all over the world. Sandip Gupta, a student of IAM, is currently the executive director of Dining Concepts in Hong Kong, a
Fortune 500 company, and runs 16 Michelin-star restaurants.

“Students are placed across hotels and resorts in the US, Europe, Malaysia, Maldives and West Asia. More importantly, the global curriculum, which is also followed by the BA students of hospitality management, University of West
London, gives the students a cutting edge in global hospitality industry,” Chaudhuri said.

The main focus at IAM has always been on making sure students are industry-ready. Even during the pandemic, when physical classes had to be discontinued, IAM held classes online and supported their students through multiple sessions with nationally and internationally acclaimed experts of the industry.

The curriculum is dynamic and accommodates the current trends of the market. Sessions conducted by industry experts keep the students focussed on their careers. “Where traditional careers such as engineering and management are getting saturated, hospitality is on the rise,” Chaudhuri summed up.
