“It’s very emotional. I’m glad I am ending it on my own terms but I shall miss it,” Daniel Craig told Graham Norton when asked if he was happy or emotional about No Time to Die being his last film as 007, a journey that has spanned five films and 16 years.
With Craig adamant that he didn’t want to be back for another Bond movie after Spectre fans held out hope that the 25th Bond movie would tempt Craig, who added an emotional depth to the British spy that was sorely missing, out to fight baddies in style once more. And Craig didn’t disappoint.
Promoting No Time to Die on the British talk show, Craig expressed gratitude at being able to return for the film and said that it provided a great sense of resolution to his story arc.
What about a new Bond taking over? “I’ll probably be incredibly bitter when the new person takes over,” said Craig with a slight wince that had the audience laughing.
