Yes, MCU fans, it's not
a dream or a prank — it’s reality. Keep pinching yourselves because Robert
Downey Jr., your favourite Marvel superstar, is returning for all the love in
the Marvel universe. After Avengers: Endgame, MCU fans haven’t really
enjoyed the new phase, but the latest reveal at San Diego Comic-Con will have
you crying happy tears.
Taking to Instagram, RDJ
shared a picture of himself with the Dr. Doom mask and captioned: “New mask,
same task.” What’s the task? Bringing joy back to all our lives. With Fantastic
Four set to drop in July 2025, Robert Downey Jr. will take up the mantle of one
of the most complex Marvel characters, Dr. Doom, aka Victor Von Doom. Avengers:
Doomsday is set to be released in May 2026, so MCU fans, relax and enjoy a
new era of Marvel with Robert Downey Jr. going from hero to villain this time.
We can’t wait, and we know that you can’t either.
