From leading India to T20 glory in 2007 to a 50-over World Cup triumph in 2011 to Champions Trophy success in 2013, Mahendra Singh Dhoni has created a legacy that will be hard to replicate. More than three years after his international retirement in 2020, the BCCI has decided to honour MSD by retiring his iconic number seven shirt. This means that no Indian cricketer can wear the number seven while representing India any longer. The only other time such an honour was extended to an Indian cricketer was when Sachin Tendulkar's number 10 was retired by BCCI in 2017. While you admire another of Amul's topical cartoons, this time about MSD, how about ordering your own Dhoni jersey or rewatching his biopic to rekindle memories of Captain Cool?
