Each of Jaipur Rugs’ creations tells a story. Their Freedom Manchaha collection is a sustainable initiative where long-term prisoners from Jaipur, Bikaner, and Dausa jails weave rugs on looms. Meanwhile, the Manchaha collection showcases rugs created by the talented weavers of Rajasthan. Here are two bestsellers from the carpet maker’s collections:
Shobha: The vibrant colours and traditional patterns in this rug draw inspiration from local artwork and the warmth of Indian dhabas. The red-orange ombre effect gives it a cheerful vibe, while the geometric patterns symbolise festivals and religious rituals. Amarchand’s Manchaha, Shobha encapsulates his experiences and travels across India.
Diwali: Weaver Santosh named her Manchaha carpet Diwali. Inspired by the festival, she has woven depictions of sweets, crackers and decorative items to infuse it with festive charm. The vibrant colours represent the essence of Indian celebrations and the joy of Diwali.
