Remember how strange the first few days of lockdown were back in 2020 when no one knew what was going on and a neighbour you never really spoke to suddenly turned into a friend? With a similar backdrop, Fourteen Days, from Penguin Publishers, is set in a Manhattan building during the first two weeks of lockdown. As tenants meet on the roof, conversations turn them into ‘real’ neighbours.
The book’s uniqueness comes from its characters — each character being penned by different authors. Authors like John Grisham, Celeste Ng, Sylvia Day, Emma Donoghue and R.L Stine are just some of the major literary voices who have secretly written a character each for this book. Edited by Margaret Atwood and Douglas Preston, the book is available on Amazon.in.
