It was a bittersweet moment for Manasi Joshi in Paris on August 29 as the Indian shuttler made her Paralympics debut but lost her first group stage match. On the eve of her debut in the SL 3 Women’s Singles category, Manasi took to Instagram to share a few photos from her final practice session before her debut. Having played the sport for 10 years now, the 35-year-old from Rajkot finally got to the highest stage, the Paris Paralympics games. Although she lost her first match, she will have two more group matches to make it to the knock-out stages. With her eyes set on a medal finish, we wish her the very best for her remaining campaign. Hopefully Manasi will bounce back quickly, and we will be watching her on JioCinema to see her progress.
