Masterchef Subhojit Sen gives us a rice-based dish to obsess over. And no, it’s not biryani but close. The Masterchef India Season 8 contestant took to Instagram to share a reel of himself making Peshawari Mutton Pulao and it checks all the boxes.
The Peshawari Mutton Pulao is light, but rich in taste. While it has its mix of spices, the soaked black raisins and boiled Kabuli chana that are added to it make for a pleasant surprise. It is a traditional dish originating from Peshawar, a city in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. This dish is popular for its aromatic and flavourful rice cooked with tender mutton and various spices.
While travelling to Peshawar may not be an option at the moment, making this recipe at home could be the hack that we needed.
