Arthshila Santiniketan is proud to present an extraordinary amalgamation of artistic talents in their upcoming exhibition, Vision & Visuals. This captivating event will showcase the brilliant illustrations of Jatindra Kumar Sen, brought to life from the rich narratives of writer Parashuram. The exhibition, commencing on September 2 and hosted by the esteemed KS Radhakrishan, will unfold through a captivating visual journey, guided by Parashuram’s intricate sketches.
The evocative illustrations, drawn from Parashuram’s story compilations including Gaddalika, Kajjali, and Hanumaner Swapno Ityadi Galpo, have intricately woven themselves into the tapestry of Bengali culture across generations. These treasures, safeguarded within the writer’s abode for years, were unearthed and preserved by the avid collector Parimal Ray, based in Kolkata.
