However, the weekend is likely to have dry weather.

Due to a fresh western disturbance, a cyclonic circulation is likely to form over west Rajasthan on Tuesday night, according to IMD Delhi.

As a result, scattered to fairly widespread light/moderate rainfall may be expected in Bengal, Sikkim and Jharkhand on Wednesday and Thursday.

The maximum temperature in Kolkata is likely to be around 25 degrees Celsius on Tuesday. The minimum expected temperature is around 15 degrees Celsius.

The Alipore Met office predicted a 2–4-degree Celsius rise in night temperature over the next three days.

Shallow to moderate fog likely at one or two places over Gangetic West Bengal during the next two days.

Kolkata and several other districts of south Bengal had experienced light to moderate rainfall on Friday on the eve of Saraswati puja last week.
