The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has taken a proactive step to curb malpractices and ensure the smooth conduct of the Madhyamik 2025 examinations. The board has included a comprehensive list of rules and guidelines in this year’s test papers to create awareness among students about fair examination practices.
The guidelines aim to educate students on the importance of adhering to examination norms while discouraging dishonest practices.
Key instructions highlighted include:
- Students must carry only their original admit card and registration card to the exam hall.
- Guardians are not permitted inside the examination centre.
- Mobile phones and electronic devices are strictly prohibited.
- Students cannot leave the exam hall until the session concludes.
- No unfair means will be tolerated for achieving better results.
By incorporating these instructions in test papers months ahead of the exams, the board seeks to instill discipline and responsibility among students.
The Madhyamik 2025 exams are scheduled to begin on February 10 and will continue until February 22, 2025. As the date approaches, the board’s new move is expected to play a pivotal role in shaping a more ethical examination environment.
