“The app has already gained popularity among regular Metro users. More and more commuters are recharging their smart cards to travel…using this newly introduced app,” states a recent press release.

The newly launched application has earned the carrier Rs 71,68,500 till June 7, it mentions.

The interest shown by the commuters in using the application has encouraged the authorities to launch camps to make more commuters aware of the online facility.

The camps were held throughout this month. Last week, such camps were organised at Sovabazar-Sutanuti, Rabindra Sadan, Jatin Das Park and Netaji Metro stations.
