Belur Math, the global headquarters of the Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, will reopen its doors to visitors on February 23.
The Math had shut its gates to visitors on January 2 following a renewed surge in Covid cases.
The Math will remain open from 7am to 11am and again from 3.30pm to 5.30pm.
The authorities of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission said on a Facebook post on Friday, “Advisories issued from time to time with regard to Covid-19 protocol for entry into Belur Math premises remain unaltered.”
With the decline in Covid cases, several other institutions in the state have also been reopened.
Mother’s House, popularly known as Sri Sri Mayer Bari, in Bagbazar, opened its doors to visitors on February 2.
The Bengal government had reopened schools for primary and upper primary students in the state on February 16. In-person classes for students from VIII-XII had already begun from February 3.
Bengal reported 319 fresh Covid-19 cases on Friday.
