Mother’s House, popularly known as Sri Sri Mayer Bari, in Bagbazar, opened its doors to visitors on Tuesday.

Mother’s House which receives around 300 visitors every day had closed its doors for the public earlier last month as a precaution against burgeoning Covid cases in the state.

Sri Sarada Devi, wife of Sri Ramakrishna Paramhansa, had stayed in the house from 1909 to 1920.

Kamarpukur Math

The Kamarpukur Math opened its doors for the public on Wednesday.

Visitors will be allowed inside from 8.30am to 11am and 3.30pm to 5pm. Devotees will have to follow Covid protocol strictly.

However, the distribution of traditional Bhog will remain suspended for the time being.

The Bengal government had introduced a slew of relaxations to COVID-19 curbs in the state on Monday.

Schools for classes 8 to 12, colleges and varsities is set to reopen in Bengal on Thursday.

The government also allowed 75 per cent workforce to attend office, instead of the earlier 50 per cent.

Cinemas and auditoriums have been allowed to host shows with 75 per cent capacity.
