The Protouch Junior Open 2024, the inaugural leg of the Indian Golf Union (IGU) East Zone Junior Feeder Tour 2024, took place between February 7 and 8 at Tollygunge Club. In the A & B Boys’ category, the winner was Varish Mohta after shooting 12 over par in two days, while Dishan Ghosh finished as runner-up with 14 over par.
Mohta also won the B Boys’ title, where Aranyak Chakraborty finished second with a score of 161. In the C Boys’ category, the winner was Samarth Agarwal, while the runner-up position was secured by Vivaan Jawanpuria from Jamshedpur. In the D Boys’ category, Ayaan Mimani came out on top as Shaurya Sen finished second. Harshit Raj Singh was the winner in the E Boys’ category with Ujaan Chakraborty taking the runner-up position.
In the C & D Girls’ category, Julinka Roy Chowdhury beat Nahida Parvin to claim victory. In the E Girls’ category, Ahana Khaitan was the winner with Khushi Baid finishing as runner-up.

At the prize distribution ceremony, Sreyon Chatterjee, the golf captain of Tollygunge Club, gave away the prizes. Speaking at the ceremony, Mayank Jalan, chairperson and managing director of Keventer Agro Limited, said: “We’re happy to extend our support to the Junior Feeder Tour this season, as it will help in encouraging and developing young talent.”
The tour’s education partner is The Champ for Life Academy. The outdoor media partner is Balaji Ads and the online proshop partner is Golfedge. Bisleri has come in as the water partner from this season. Keventer, eastern India's largest FMCG company, is the tour sponsor and provided players with juices and milkshakes.
