At the 2024 Tolly Classic held at Tollygunge Club, Uzair Firdausi emerged as the champion after two days of tough competition between March 3 and 4. This tournament was part of the IGU East Zone Amateur Feeder Tour 2024.
Firdausi scored four-over-par 144 in the Amateur category, which earned him the top spot. Ahaan Gupta came in second with a score of seven-over-par 147. In the Mid-Amateur category, Abhishek Mitra won with a total score of 161, followed by Jai Prakash Singh with 171.
Among the ladies, Fizza Ali was the winner with a score of 159, followed by Ananya Roy with 168.
Ashit Luthra did exceptionally well in both the Senior and Super Senior categories, winning with a score of 166. Jaydeep Chitlangia finished second in the Senior category with a score of 168, while Sovit Chakraborty came second in the Super Senior category with 187.
