The Saturday Club hosted an action-packed Corporate Table Tennis tournament

The 9th edition introduced a kids’ section where participants were asked to bring their children to play

“Over the years, the tournament has become one of the signature events of The Saturday Club. Every year, corporate fellows look forward to this event and year by year we are growing. This year we have 19 teams and their passion is just outstanding. This year the competition and the skill set have gone up. The Saturday Club recently hosted an energetic 9th edition of the Corporate Table Tennis tournament, in association with t2. Over the years, many corporate firms have participated in the club’s tournament. The 9th edition introduced a kids’ section where participants were asked to bring their children to play. After a competitive final, TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) took the big prize and Cognizant was runner-up.

Cognizant came second in the tournament. Under special awards, the team received the best cheering award. “Well done to my Cognizant TT family. We were again able to showcase Cognizant values of inclusiveness, diversity and unity on the ground,” said Debanjan Chakraborty of the Cognizant team, who was the runner-up Player of The Tournament.

Team TCS won the Gold Cup and the Silver Plate and was runner-up in the Bronze Bowl. “TCS is rejoicing as its table tennis stars clinched the gold medal at the Corporate TT cup in a heart-pounding final match. Our paddlers displayed unmatched skill and determination,” said Debraj Karmakar of the winning team.
