“We closed the doors of The Eiffel on July 17 this year. We organised a ballroom closing party and called it LOTO, which is ‘lock out tag out’. We took up a complete renovation; we stripped the walls open, and we redid the entire carpeting. We changed the AC ducts, we changed the lights, we wanted everything brand new. And that’s exactly what has happened. And we have done it in record time. Thankfully, we could open it back today. I’m happy that it’s not just the opening of another posh banquet venue, but also a repositioning of our food and beverage strategy. Today guests can savour a variety of options as all our F&B outlets have put up their stalls,” said Arjun Kaggallu, general manager, Novotel Kolkata Hotel and Residences.
