Royal Bowling League Kolkata was full of sportsman spirit, moments from the competition

RCGC Maidan tent came alive with the sportsman spirit of the bowling enthusiasts of the city at the prestigious Royal Bowling League Kolkata in association with t2. A total of 120 players divided into 10 teams took part. The competition saw a surge in participation from female players. Despite the delay caused by the rains, the final was a closely- contested affair. Royals Super Knights defeated two-time runners-up, Jack High to win the Main Plate for the third time. BLC High Rollers lifted the Challengers Plate, and City Knights was the runner-up.

The prize distribution ceremony was followed by a performance by The ARC Project (Abhishek Roy Choudhury). The members and guests enjoyed the music over lip-smacking food accompanied by drinks.

Team BLC High Rollers were the winners of Challengers Plate. “Our team had first-timers and very senior bowlers and their bonding and teamwork resulted in a great season this year. We are looking forward to the next season eagerly,” said Vikash Mussadi, owner, BLC High Rollers.

"It was a pleasure to be a member of the winning team of RBL 2023. Lawn bowling every year keeps growing by leaps and bounds with quite a number of tournaments being organised and also there is a substantial increase in the participation of female members," said club captain Rohan Ghosh.

Team Jack High was the first runner-up. Team owners Amit Tekriwal and Siddharth Soni said: "Team Jack High was the first runner-up second time in a row. The team played very well throughout the tournament to make it to finals and we are proud of them."

Team Royals Super Knights emerged as the winner of RBL 2023. "We had the right balance of youth and experienced bowlers in our team. Everyone delivered to their full potential. Above all, we played as a cohesive unit to lift the RBL trophy for a record third time," said an ecstatic Devesh Srivastava, team owner.
