Spreading Christmas cheer among underprivileged kids of the city, NRAI Kolkata Chapter organised Santa’s Cause, a fun-filled Christmas Carnival at Dhapa slums on December 11. And the kids had the time of their life with massive jungle-themed bouncy keeping them engaged all day. Sumptuous food, a dance competition and a special performance by DJ Akash added to the joy.
A CSR initiative by NRAI Kolkata Chapter, Santa’s Cause, in its third year, added more joy by distributing 1 lakh packaged food and beverages to over 20,000 children. Also, all the goodies collected via the drive were donated in approximately 54 NGOs and slums such as CREW, Bustee Welfare Centre, Destiny Home, Tiljala shed NGO, Sarat Memorial School and Calcutta Rescue to name a few. The drive concluded on December 25 spreading smiles to the lives of the kids.

“I believe spreading smiles should be the most contagious thing in the world and we at NRAI are striving to do just the same. NRAI wishes to continue being the source of joy to these underprivileged kids every year through this philanthropic initiative because we at NRAI believe that the joy of giving is the greatest joy of all,” said Aditya Ladsaria, chapter head, NRAI Kolkata.
