Rally today
The junior doctors have called for a rally from Sodepur’s HB Town to their protest site at Esplanade from 2pm on Saturday. From HB Town the participants will march towards the Sodepur Traffic More and then to Sagore Dutta hospital. From the hospital, they will head towards the Dunlop crossing and the Sinthee intersection.
Next, they will march to the Shyambazar crossing before heading towards College Square on their way to Esplanade. Supporters of football clubs, including East Bengal, Mohammedan Sporting and Mohun Bagan, will form human chains, which will be joined by medical professionals and others. The chains will be formed from the Ultadanga intersection to the Ruby crossing on EM Bypass from 5pm to 7pm.
