Legendary singer, songwriter, composer and actor Lucky Ali gave a magical performance on September 30 at the Calcutta Boating and Hotel Resorts with Casa Bacardi. With his one-of-a-kind voice and passionate music, Ali already rules the hearts of the 90s kids and despite a rainy Saturday, the arena was packed with all music lovers who were present to witness a soulful performance by the singer. t2 dropped in to capture a few musical moments.

Lucky Ali dropped Na tum jano na hum, which is a classic favourite of all 90s kids. He went on to sing Maut from the movie Kaante in which he had acted too. The audience roared when he pointed at them as he sang the lyrics Maut, jeene ke liye zaroori hai yeh with remarkable drum beats. “Once more! Once more!” cheered the audience when Ali dropped O sanam. “I will, if you join me,” said Lucky Ali as he sang Shaam sawere teri yaadein aati hai, the audience joined him with O sanam. “Calcutta is not just a city. It is a symphony of emotions. There’s always a special energy in this city and its people. Thank you for making every song a legend in itself tonight,” said Lucky Ali as he got off the stage.

It was like our whole childhood flashed in front of our eyes as he kept dropping the 90s hits. And what energy! Truly had a lot of fun.”
