Gurshaan Grewal seals victory at the Bengal Masters 2023

The latest instalment of the IGU East Zone Amateur Feeder Tour took place at FWEPTA

The Bengal Masters 2023, the second leg of the IGU East Zone Amateur Feeder Tour 2023, was held at FWEPTA between April 5 and 6, with My Kolkata as digital partner. The tournament saw participation from more than 40 top amateur golfers. Gurshaan Grewal of Kolkata eventually won the amateur category after shooting 10 over par 154 over the two days, followed by Samridh Sen of Kolkata, who shot 158.

Sumit Kakkar of Ranchi won the mid-amateur title with a score of 169 after two rounds, while Amit Kumar Saraogi of Kolkata finished second with a score of 189. Anwesha Das of the ladies’ division won the tournament with a score of 171.

The tour is set to continue in Jamshedpur, where The Jamshedpur Amateur Open 2023 will be held at the Golmuri Club on April 13 and 14.

The tour's education partner was The Champ for Life Academy, the outdoor media partner was Balaji Ads and the online proshop partner was Golfedge. Keventer, Eastern India's largest FMCG company, had sponsored giveaways for all participants. The event was managed by Protouch Sports.
