Calcutta Swimming Club organised its annual Children’s Christmas Carnival with The Telegraph, at the beginning of the holiday season in December. The day-long carnival was a colourful affair, with a gamut of games, activities and other fun stuff to keep little ones entertained. The theme this year was Candylicious, which meant that every child was in for a sweet treat. There were exciting activities for children of all ages, which included Christmas cookie decoration, a treasure hunt, ziplining and toy-train rides.
Santa Claus was one of the main attractions of the carnival. Kids watched in wonder as Santa made a dramatic appearance and thronged him as he showered the kids with gifts from his bag filled with goodies. Apart from this, there was music, dancing and lots of tasty treats for the young and the young-at-heart.
