The 9th BRC Summer Darts Open Championship, in association with t2, was held from June 28 to July 2 at the Bengal Rowing Club. With a diverse range of categories and participants from across India and from Malaysia, the event was exciting and competitive. The atmosphere during the final was charged with tension, as the crowd closely observed the players’ every throw. The final moments of the match were nerve-wracking, as the outcome depended on the trajectory of each dart and the competitors’ skill, precision and composure. One of the most thrilling matches was the men’s singles final, featuring Aryaveer Chokhani from India and Tenooth Sivalingam from Malaysia. The audience was filled with patriotic fervour, cheering each throw with great enthusiasm.
During the prize-giving ceremony, distinguished guests including BRC sports chairman Anand Daga, working president of the Darts Association of Bengal Devesh Srivastava and president of the Malaysia Darts Association Nancy Ambrose presented several trophies, medals and cash prizes. Individual winners Aryaveer Chokhani, Mahi Bosmia, Vidisha Parekh, Duncan Vincent, Tenooth Sivalingam and others were acknowledged for their outstanding performances. Team Biscotti Barrels secured the team trophy along with a significant cash prize of Rs 80,000. Snapshots.
