“The council is basically for Bengali business people. Bengalis in business has traditionally been considered to be an oxymoron. But we have tried to build a platform where all Bengali business people come together. The event is a +celebration of this coming together. We are trying to create a network through this event which is a public- oriented programme. We are trying to pull in the crowd through all that Bengalis love. Our theme is Bangali Ja Bhalobashe (All that Bengalis love). Our message is Bengalis have always been in business, are in business and will continue to be in business,” said Subhasis Dutt, founder and general secretary, Bengal Business Council said.
