Train services will be disrupted for a week from Thursday due to signal modification work at the Chakradharpur yard in Tatanagar- Rourkela section under Chakradharpur division of South Eastern Railway (SER).
The work is on for the commissioning of a third line between Rajkharsawan and Bisra railway stations.
The trains to remain cancelled till January 30 are Tatanagar-Bilaspur passenger, Tatanagar-Chakradharpur Memu passenger, Chakradharpur-Tatanagar Memu passenger, Gomoh-Chakradharpur Memu passenger and Chakradharpur-Gomoh Memu passenger.
The Up Howrah-Adra-Chakradharpur passenger that left Howrah on Thursday will be short-terminated at Adra till January 29. Hence, the services of the train will remain cancelled between Adra and Chakradharpur till January 30, Garden Reach, the Calcutta-based headquarters of the SER, said.
The Shalimar-LTT Express that left Shalimar on Thursday till January 30 will stop at all stations between Tatanagar and Chakradharpur as a passenger special. The Down LTT-Shalimar Express will also stop at all stations between Chakradharpur and Tatanagar till January 29.
Similarly, the Up Rourkela-Barbil Intercity Express that left Rourkela on Thursday will stop at all stations between Rourkela and Chakradharpur till January 30.
The Down Barbil-Rourkela Intercity Express that will leave Barbil on January 24 and January 31 will stop at all stations between Chakradharpur and Rourkela.
