Thiruvin Kural
Think Music India released the official trailer for its upcoming Tamil-language film Thiruvin Kural on Monday. Directed by Harish Prabhu N.S, the movie stars Arlnithi, Bharathiraja, Aathmika, Subatra Robert, Monekha Siva, Ashraf, AR Jeeva, Harish Somasundaram, Mahendran and Mullaiarasi.
The two-minute-24-second-long trailer chronicles the journey of a family man, who has to fight against some psychopathic criminals associated with government hospitals of Tamil Nadu.
Thiruvin Kural will arrive in cinemas on April 14.
Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse
Sony Pictures India dropped the official teaser of its upcoming animated superhero film Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse on Monday. It is the sequel to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (2018) and set in a shared multiverse of alternate universes called the “Spider-Verse”. The film is directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K. Thompson, its voice cast includes Hailee Steinfeld, Jake Johnson, Issa Rae, Daniel Kaluuya, Jason Schwartzman, Brian Tyree Henry and Luna Lauren Vélez.
The 15-second-long teaser shows glimpses of various multiverses as Miles Morales a.k.a Spider-Man goes through them. At the end of the clip we hear, “You can’t run forever, kid.”
The trailer for Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse will arrive on April 4.
Pinky Beauty Parlour
Pen Movies shared the official trailer of its upcoming Hindi-language satirical comedy film Pinky Beauty Parlour on Monday. Written and directed by Akshay Singh, the film stars Sulagna Panigrahi, Khushboo Gupta and Akshay Singh.
The two-minute-36-second-long trailer sheds light on colour discrimination in India through the story of two sisters running a beauty parlour. It highlights how being fair is considered the standard of beauty and those not born with that colour face discrimination not only from society but their families as well.
Pinky Beauty Parlour will arrive in cinemas on April 14.
Section 306 IPC
Muzik247 shared the final trailer of the upcoming Malayalam-language legal thriller Section 306 IPC on Sunday evening. Written and directed by Sreenath Shiva, it stars Renji Panicker, Shanthi Krishna, Rahul Madhav, Jayaraj Warrier, Mareena Michael and Savithri Sreedharan.
The two-minute-25-second-long trailer takes us to a small town in Kerala, where the political situation has caused civil unrest. We see glimpses of the legal thriller which focuses on IPC 306 — ‘Abetment of suicide’.
Section 306 IPC is scheduled to release on April 8.
