The official trailer of Sony LIV series Tanaav, an adaptation of the hit Israeli show Fauda, has come out. The show features Arbaaz Khan, Rajat Kapoor, Zarina Wahab and Manav Vij in prominent roles. Veteran director Sudhir Mishra is the showrunner for the series, while Serious Men director Sachin Mamta Krishn helms the episodes.
The trailer begins by following an aspiring militant in Kashmir talking about revenge. Then we see a blast triggered by a suicide bomber in a crowded cafe as part of the growing insurgency in Kashmir.
Tanaav will be streaming on Sony LIV from November 11.
Breathe Into The Shadows Season 2
Amazon Prime Video has shared the official trailer of the second season of Breathe Into The Shadows, starring Abhishek Bachchan, Amit Sadh, Nithya Menen, Saiyami Kher and Ivana Kaur. Naveen Kasturia features in this Amazon Original series. The crime-drama series has been co-written by director Mayank Sharma, Arshad Syed, Vikram Tuli, Priya Saggi and Abhijeet Deshpande.
The synopsis of Season 2 reads, “J’s existence and ideology re-emerge as he sets out to finish what he started, leading Avinash to confront his merging dual identity. But this time around, he has a new partner-in-crime, Victor. Kabir Sawant must now fight the battle of his life as he protects the society that has become a victim in the endgame of this crazed saga.”
Breathe Into The Shadows Season 2 will arrive on Amazon Prime Video on November 9.
Saralakkha Holmes
Eskay Movies has announced the title of its upcoming Bengali detective thriller film Saralakkha Holmes. Directed by Sayantan Ghosal and written by Sanjib Banerji, it is based on Hound of Baskervilles by Arthur Conan Doyle.
Padmanava Dasgupta has penned the screenplay and dialogue of this movie. It stars Gaurav Chakraborty, Saheb Chatterjee, Rajnandini Paul, Kanchan Mullick, Rishav Basu and Shataf Figar.
Freddy
Disney+ Hotstar has announced that Bollywood star Kartik Aaryan is set to headline its upcoming film Freddy. Produced by Balaji Telefilms and Northern Lights Films and directed by Shashanka Ghosh, the movie is billed as an edge-of-the-seat thriller.
The film will also feature Alaya F and Jeniffer Piccinato. Kartik will be seen in an all-new avatar in this upcoming film. Freddy will be released directly on Disney+ Hotstar without a theatrical release.
It is set for a direct-to-digital release on Disney+ Hotstar, the streamer announced Thursday.
