Ashley (Britt Robertson), a former big-city dancer, returns to her small town and takes on the challenge of saving her parents’ dilapidated performing arts venue, the Rhythm Room. Here, she comes across Luke (Chad Michael Murray), a resident carpenter-handyman. Considering Luke’s ripped physique, Ashley gets the idea to put together an all-male Christmas revue called The Merry Gentlemen, hoping that it will attract people to keep the place going. When a juice bar is interested in taking over the place, Ashley goes to great lengths to save the venue.

Another Lindsay Lohan-starrer on the list is Irish Wish, which marked her return to acting earlier this year. In the film, Madeline (Lohan) wonders what she really wants from life when her dream of marrying the love of her life, Paul Kennedy (Alexander Vlahos), miraculously comes true. After travelling to Ireland to attend her best friend’s wedding, Madeline realises that she has always had feelings for Paul, the groom. While her mother urges her to open up about her feelings, Madeline makes a spontaneous wish. The very next day, she wakes up in bed with Paul, realising that she has miraculously swapped places with his fiancée Emma Taylor (Elizabeth Tan).
