It was an evening to remember. SVF Brands recently celebrated its fourth anniversary with a grand party at M Bar Kitchen & Cocktails. The event was a star-studded affair and the dress code for the night was Bollywood Retro, with the guests dressed in their retro best. The event started with a red carpet entry where the stars posed for the cameras, showing off their style and glamour. The venue was transformed into a retro paradise with colourful lights, vintage posters, and classic Bollywood-inspired decor.

DJ Girish created an electrifying atmosphere with his mix of Bollywood retro songs, setting the mood for the night. From the catchy beats of Dum maaro dum to the seductive melody of Piya tu ab toh aaja, he had everyone grooving on the dance floor. The guests were dressed in their retro outfits, bringing back the nostalgia of the 1970s and 1980s.

The evening was graced by the presence of some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, including Tollywood superstar Prosenjit Chatterjee, who looked dashing in his retro outfit. His white shirt and grey waistcoat perfectly captured the true retro vibe of the celebration.

Actress Swastika Dutta turned heads, looking like a retro queen. “I had instructed my designer to create a look that was reminiscent of the retro days, with puff sleeves and bobby print,” she said. She revealed that she didn’t follow any celebrity character and simply instructed her designer to keep it retro.

Koushani, Ushasi and Bonny absolutely rocked it together, bringing back those true retro vibes with their stylish polka dots and vintage prints. Major nostalgic vibes from the movie Om Shanti Om were given by model Sushmita Roy. Her outfit and hair updo resembled the iconic look. “Om Shanti Om holds a special place in my heart, and channelling the iconic Shantipriya was a tribute to the timeless beauty and grace of Deepika Padukone’s portrayal. I aimed to evoke the same magic on screen as she did,” she said.

Iman Chakraborty exuded timeless beauty in a stunning white sari. “I wanted to capture simplicity and elegance in my attire for the night,” said Iman. She effortlessly pulled off a subtle yet striking look.

Arjun Chakrabarty made a style statement with his polka dot shirt, embracing the retro Bollywood theme with a touch of playfulness. “I wanted to channel the nostalgia of the era while adding my own twist with this vibrant polka dot shirt,” he said. Monami Ghosh, rocking a chic striped coords ensemble, complemented by retro glasses, said, “I stepped into the retro Bollywood era tonight, channelling the classic style of yesteryears with a modern twist.”

Pairing her dress with white boots, Sandipta Sen fused retro elements with contemporary fashion, creating a unique look that bridges the gap between old and new, paying homage to the magic of retro Bollywood. With her retro-inspired ensemble, Anusha Viswanathan said: “I transported myself back to the glitz and glamour of vintage Bollywood, reliving the magic of the previous days.”

Priyanka Sarkar looked stunning as she appeared gracefully draped in a sari. Her choice of attire reflected timeless elegance and femininity. Flaunting a black and white jumpsuit paired with retro glasses, Chandreyee Ghosh playfully said: “Tonight, I embraced the monochrome magic of Bollywood.”

While Sohini Sarkar absolutely rocked the night with her retro hairdo and vintage make-up, Devlina Kumar and Gourab Chatterjee absolutely nailed the retro vibe! Devlina’s wide-legged pants and balloon sleeves gave off a fabulous vintage feel, while Gourab looked chic in his shirt and pants. Sreetama Roychowdhury looked fabulous in a pink polka dot jumpsuit while Rooqma Ray slayed in a stunning shimmery fit.
