Sunny Deol-starrer Gadar 2 collected Rs 465 crore nett at the box office on its 19th day in the theatres, according to Box Office India.
Despite slowing down at the box office on Day 15 with a collection of Rs 7.10 crore nett on Friday, Gadar 2 picked up pace over the third weekend, minting Rs 13.75 crore nett on Saturday, followed by Rs 16.10 crore nett on Sunday. It, however, witnessed a 36 per cent drop in its collection on Monday (Rs 4.60 crore nett) and only a slightly better collection of Rs 5.25 crore nett on Tuesday.
The period action-entertainer is likely to witness a jump in collection again today, as per trade analysts, owing to a holiday in parts of India due to Raksha Bandhan.
After a phenomenal opening-day collection of Rs 40.10 crore nett, the Anil Sharma-helmed actioner enjoyed a solid first week with Rs 284 crore nett in seven days. The film continued its box office rampage by minting Rs 420 crore nett at the end of the second week.
On the other hand, Akshay Kumar-starrer OMG 2 managed to rake in Rs 138.42 crore nett at the domestic box office so far. The Amit Rai-helmed satirical comedy, also featuring Yami Gautam and Pankaj Tripathi in pivotal roles, earned Rs 1.30 crore nett on Day 19.
