The second season of popular romantic comedy series XO, Kitty will drop on Netflix on January 16, 2025, the streaming platform announced on Thursday, sharing a teaser.
“XO, Kitty Season 2 when? January 16,” the streamer captioned the video on X.
The 16-second clip, featuring Anna Cathcart, Choi Min-young, Gia Kim, Sang Heon Lee, Anthony Keyvan and Regan Aliyah, teases “new roommates, more romance, more travel, more love triangles, new classmates” in the upcoming instalment of the show.
The first instalment of XO, Kitty premiered on Netflix on May 18 last year. It is a spin-off of the To All the Boys film series, which is itself an adaptation of Jenny Han's book trilogy, To All the Boys I've Loved Before. XO, Kitty made history as the first Netflix television series to be spun-off from a Netflix original film.
XO, Kitty Season 2, shot primarily in South Korea’s Seoul, will explore Kitty’s love life as she begins a new semester at KISS. “When Kitty heads back to KISS for her second semester, she’s single for the first time in a long time and ready for a fresh start: no more meddling, no more drama. Maybe just some casual dating,” reads a recent press communique on Netflix’s companion site Tudum.
While Cathcart reprises her role as Kitty in Season 2, Anthony Keyvan returns as Q and Regan Aliyah as Juliana. Minyeong Choi, Gia Kim and Sang Heon Lee will also reprise their roles from Season 1.
XO, Kitty was renewed for Season 2 on June 14, 2023 and went on floors in April this year.
