A24 on Friday released the trailer of its upcoming American comedy-drama film co-written and directed by Kelly Reichardt. It stars Michelle Williams in the lead role alongside Hong Chau, Judd Hirsch, Maryann Plunkett, John Magaro, André Benjamin and Heather Lawless.
The two-minute-two-second-long trailer follows an artist (Michelle Williams) who is on the verge of a career-changing exhibition and finds inspiration in the chaos of life.
Sexify Season 2
Netflix dropped the trailer for the second season of its Polish sex comedy series Sexify. Directed by Kalia Alabrudzińska and Piotr Domalewski, the series stars Sandra Drzymalska, Aleksandra Skraba and Maria Sobocińska in lead roles.
The two-minute-13-second long trailer shows three university students — Natalia (Aleksandra Skraba), Paulina (Maria Sobocińska) and Monika (Sandra Drzymalska) — trying to keep their startup called Sexify afloat. They earlier borrowed half a million dollars to cover the losses and must borrow more. They also reinvent their business model and product to become more viable to customers while dealing with a personal crisis.
Sexify Season 2 will arrive on Netflix on January 11.
A Good Person
Sky Cinema on Friday launched the official trailer of its upcoming American drama film A Good Person. Written and directed by Golden Globe-nominee Zach Braff, the film stars Florence Pugh, Celeste O’Connor, Zoe Lister-Jones, Molly Shannon and Morgan Freeman in key roles.
In the one-minute-43-second-long trailer, we see Allison (Pugh), a young woman whose world falls apart when she survives a terrible car accident. While in recovery, she develops an opioid addiction due to unresolved grief. She forms an unlikely friendship with her would-be father-in-law, Daniel (Freeman), who also lost her daughter in the same accident. Their bond gives her a fighting chance to put her life back together and move forward.
A Good Person will arrive in cinemas in 2023.
Kathmandu Connection S2
Sony Liv unveiled the teaser for the second season of its hit thriller series Kathmandu Connection. Directed by Sachin Pathak, it stars Amit Sial and Aksha Pardasany in lead roles. The series also features Anshuman Pushkar, Anurag Arora, Sanjiv Chopra and Vikram Singh Sodha.
The one-minute-15-second long teaser follows events that occur five years after the end of Season One. Shivani Bhatnagar (Aksha Pardasany) has been working for a London-based media house and gets some secret documents that are directly linked to the IC-814 hijack and a possible national security threat for India. Everything links back to Kathmandu this time as well.
Kathmandu Connection Season 2 will be streaming on Sony Liv from December 23.
