“Love you for loving Jawan”— Shah Rukh Khan has written in a heartfelt note on X (formerly Twitter), thanking his fan clubs around the world and moviegoers for flocking to theatres to watch his latest release Jawan.
“Wow have to take time out and thank each and every Fan Club and all of you who have gone so happily in the theatres and even outside,” the 57-year-old actor wrote on the microblogging site on Thursday.
Shah Rukh’s fanclubs, which are spread across various countries, have expressed their unwavering support towards the actor’s latest hit.
Shah Rukh Khan Universe Fan Club has posted a series of photos of fans abroad posing in front of the Jawan posters after watching the film. His fans from Michigan, US, also extended their love by watching the first-day-first-show at an AMC theatre on Friday.
Fans from Switzerland, however, watched the film in both Hindi and in Tamil. “SRK FANs from #Switzerland watch not one but TWO shows of Jawan😍🔥 One in Hindi and one in Tamil❤️,” the caption reads.
In his note, Shah Rukh also mentioned that he feels overwhelmed by the massive response garnered by his film in just one day. “So overwhelmed will surely do the needful as soon as I get my breath back in a day or so. Uff!!” he wrote, before adding, “Love u for loving #Jawan.”
Helmed by Atlee, Jawan also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Sanya Malhotra. Deepika Padukone makes a special appearance in the film, which released on Thursday in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
