Vicky Kaushal and Kiara Advani’s chemistry in the Govinda Naam Mera dance number Bijli might be gawk-worthy but the song has a surprise element. Ranbir Kapoor makes a brilliant cameo appearance towards the end of the dance number, a portion that was not revealed when the song was initially released.

Fans were in for a surprise as the film, which is now streaming on Disney+Hotstar, showed the end of the song with Ranbir as the main actor and Kiara-Vicky being the background dancers.

After the dance number is over, Kiara’s Suku exclaims, “He looks so good,” to which Vicky’s Govinda replies that he likes Ranveer Singh better. Once the dancing duo is spotted by the actor, they show him how they had choreographed the hookstep. The comic scene also includes choreographer Ganesh Acharya, the real-life choreographer of the dance sequence for the film.

In Bijli, Ranbir offers Govinda and Suku a choreography position for an upcoming film that he is producing and tells Govinda it has his favourite star, Ranveer Singh, as the main lead.

Fans have been loving the fun meta scene with some saying that Ranbir has made the song sequence even better.

The 40-year-old actor will be seen next in Tu Jhoothi Mai Makkar opposite Shraddha Kapoor as well as Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal.
