Walt Disney Studios have dropped the official trailer of the upcoming American fantasy adventure film Peter Pan & Wendy, based on J.M. Barrrie’s iconic fantasy adventure novel of the same name. Directed by The Green Knight helmer David Lowery, the film stars Alexander Molony as Peter alongside Ever Anderson. The cast also includes Jude Law, Yara Shahidi, Alyssa Wapanatâhk, Joshua Pickering, Jacobi Jupe, Molly Parker, Alan Tudyk and Jim Gaffigan.

In the two-minute-14-second-long trailer, we are introduced to Wendy Darling, a young girl who is afraid to leave her childhood home behind. One day she meets Peter Pan, a boy who refuses to grow up. She travels with Peter alongside her brothers and a tiny fairy called Tinker Bell to the magical world of Neverland.

Peter Pan & Wendy will be streaming on Disney+Hotstar from April 28.

Virupaksha

Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra released the official trailer of its upcoming Telugu-language film Virupaksha on Tuesday. Directed by Karthik Dandu, the film stars Sai Dharam Tej and Samyuktha Menon in lead roles.

The two-minute-five-second-long trailer introduces us to the dark and mystical world of the film. It takes us to a forest, where superstition-struck people practice what appears to be black magic. After taking us through the love story of the lead stars, the trailer cuts to a spooky scene of a girl jumping into a well. It also gives us glimpses of an occultist.

Virupaksha will arrive in theatres on April 21.

Young Jedi Adventures

Star Wars Kids has dropped the official trailer of its upcoming American animated series Young Jedi Adventures. Michael Olson is the showrunner, while Elliot Bour is the supervising director of the show.

The one-minute-55-second-long trailer follows Jedi younglings studying Force, exploring the galaxy, helping citizens and creatures in need and learning valuable skills needed to become Jedi in the process. The series is set during the High Republic era, centuries before the main Star Wars films.

Young Jedi Adventures will arrive on Disney+ on May 4.

Black Knight

Netflix Asia on Tuesday unveiled the official teaser of its upcoming South Korean science fiction drama series Black Knight. It is based on the webtoon Delivery Knight by Lee Yoon-gyun. The series stars Kim Woo-bin, Kang Yoo-seok, Esom, Song Seung-heon and Kim Eui-sung.

The one-minute-nine-second-long teaser shows a dystopian future, devastated by air pollution. The story follows a delivery man, described as a ‘rebel knight who delivers hope’. We are also introduced to several characters of this world devoid of air.

Black Knight will be streaming on Netflix from May 12.
