MasterChef India Season 8 to stream on SonyLIV from October 16

Pastry chef Pooja Dhingra will be joining celebrity chefs Ranveer Brar and Vikas Khanna as a judge this season

The eighth season of cooking reality show MasterChef India is set to stream on SonyLIV from October 16, the makers have announced in a new promo that offers a glimpse of the participants who will try their luck at winning the coveted trophy this year.

“Aspiring chefs, unforgettable dishes, and incredible stories await in Masterchef India. New Season streaming from 16th October on Sony LIV,” the streaming platform posted on Instagram along with the promo.

The promo introduces the contestants, each with a unique story to tell through their dishes. Among them is a contestant hailing from Jammu and Kashmir, eager to showcase the exotic flavours of Kashmiri cuisine.

Another contestant reveals how the art of cooking has helped them discover their own identity. With the tagline ‘Every plate tells a story’, the new season of MasterChef India aims to offer viewers a glimpse into the story behind each dish.

The judging panel features esteemed chefs Ranveer Brar and Vikas Khanna. Joining this seasoned duo is the talented and accomplished pastry chef Pooja Dhingra, the owner of India's first macaroon shop and specialises in French delicacies.
