The film follows the trio whose vacation soon turns into a dangerous quest for the greatest treasure of Bengal. The trailer starts with a car falling off a cliff.

Talking about the film, director Dhrubo Banerjee said, “Directing Karnasubarner Guptodhon felt like a reunion with my old teammates with whom I had started the journey of making films. With the third film of the Guptodhon franchise, I really hope the audience shower their love and appreciation again! This series has always been very close to my heart. My journey with SVF and mainstream Bengali films started with the very team of Guptodhoner Shondhane. Both Guptodhoner Shondhane and Durgeshgorer Guptodhon were immensely loved and enjoyed by the audience. Larger in scale, this film is about unearthing one of the greatest treasures of Bengal — one that has only been heard of in tales. With history and thrill coming together, the film is a complete entertainer.”

“The interesting part is that Sonada is an original creation. Every Bengali household has a Sonada, a character which is relatable. The film showcases what every Bengali loves — mystery and adventure coupled with a treasure hunt that takes one through the journey of Bengal’s past,” says Abir.

The team also added that Karnasubarner Guptodhon is a gift for the kids this Durga Puja. “We really hope they enjoy it. This will be a nail-biting journey and all the unsolved questions will be answered,” says Ishaa.
