Sony Liv dropped the official trailer of its upcoming Hindi-language series Garmi on Tuesday. Written and Created by Tigmanshu Dhulia, the series stars Vyom Yadav, Jatin Goswami, Vineet Kumar, Mukesh Tiwari and Anurag Thakur.

The one-minute-five-second-long teaser chronicles the journey of Arvind Shukla (Vyom Yadav), who moves out of his hometown with aspirations of becoming a civil servant but stumbles into the world of college politics, powerplay and crime. The video shows glimpses of violence related to student politics.

Garmi will be streaming on Sony Liv from April 21.

The Boogeyman

The official trailer of the supernatural horror film The Boogeyman came out on Monday night. Directed by Rob Savage, the film is based on a short story by Stephen King and stars Madison Hu, Vivien Lyra Blair, Sophie Thatcher, David Dastmalchian, Chris Messina and Jaynie Verdin.

The two-minute-26-second-long trailer shows a teenage girl and her sister reeling from the recent death of their mother. They aren’t getting much support from their therapist father. One day, a patient shows up at their door and leaves behind a terrifying supernatural entity that preys on families and feeds on the suffering of its victims.

The Boogeyman will hit the cinemas on June 2.

The Idol

HBO on Monday night dropped a new teaser for its upcoming series The Idol. Created by Sam Levinson, the show stars The Weeknd, Lily-Rose Depp, Troye Sivan, Tunde Adebimpe and Blackpink’s Jennie.

In the two-minute-two-second-long teaser, we see a female pop star (played by Lily-Rose Depp) becoming entangled with an LA-based nightclub owner. The series is said to be a take on the dirty secrets of the cut-throat music industry of Los Angeles.

The idol will arrive on Max on June 4.

Fired on Mars

HBO also shared the official trailer of its upcoming adult animated comedy series Fired on Mars. It is created and executive produced by Nate Sherman and Nick Vokey. The voice cast includes Luke Wilson, Leslie David Baker, Cory Loykasek, Stephen Root, Cedric Yarbrough, Pamela Adlon, Thomas Haden Church, Tim Heidecker, Frankie Quinones, Emily Watson and Sean Wing.

The two-minute-46-second-long trailer follows the life of Jeff Cooper (Luke Wilson), a graphic designer working for a startup on Mars. However, he suddenly gets laid off by the company and is unable to return to Earth. Alone in the sprawling office colony, Jeff is forced to reinvent himself as he attempts to find meaning in a dangerous corporate landscape.

Fired on Mars will premiere on Max on April 20.
