Salman Khan’s niece Alizeh Agnihotri plays a young IIT-aspirant from a humble background who gets framed by her rich friends in the trailer of her Bollywood debut Farrey.
Dropped by Mythri Movie Makers on Wednesday, the two-minute-27-second-long trailer introduces Alizeh’s character, Niyati, who enrols in the country’s most expensive school and faces challenges to fit in with the crowd. Soon, Niyati gets drawn into the world of extravagant parties and illegal activities, which interfere with her studies. When she tells her friends about ‘farrey’ — a colloquial term for “passing the chit” — they laugh it off before involving her in a scandal.
Helmed by Jamtara director Soumendra Padhi, Farrey is the debut movie for Alizeh. It also stars Zeyn Shaw, Sahil Mehta, Prasanna Bisht, Ronit Bose Roy and Juhi Babbar Soni. The movie is produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar, Sunir Kheterpal, Atul Agnihotri, Alvira Khan Agnihotri and Nikhil Namit.
Farrey is slated to hit theatres on November 24.
