Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone will be unveiling the FIFA World Cup trophy ahead of the final match on December 18 in Qatar, inside sources said on Monday.

A source close to the actress said that Deepika will soon be flying to Qatar and unveil the FIFA World Cup trophy at the jam-packed stadium, becoming the first-ever Indian actor to do so in the history of FIFA.’

However, there was no official confirmation from Deepika regarding the development by the time this report was filed.

Deepika had recently represented India at the Cannes Film Festival as one of the jury members. She was also the only Indian in the list of the world’s top 10 most beautiful women according to the ‘Golden Ratio of Beauty’.

Deepika will soon be seen alongside Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham in the upcoming film Pathaan, set to release on January 25, 2023.
