Dr Arora- Gupt Rog Visheshagya
Sony LIV released the trailer of their upcoming Hindi web series Dr Arora - Gupt Rog Visheshagya. The light-hearted series about sexual problems is created by Imtiaz Ali. Sajid Ali and Archit Kumar have directed the series. Veteran actor Kumud Mishra, known for films like Mulk, Thappad, Article 15 and Filmistaan, is playing the titular character in this series. From the trailer, it seems like the show has explored the social stigma, shame and pressure on men when it comes to seeking help for sexual problems. Apart from Mishra, the show also stars Vidya Malavade, Vivek Mushran, Sandeepa Dhar, Ajitesh Gupta, Shekhar Suman and Gaurav Parajuli. The series will start streaming on SonyLiv from July 22.
Bimbisara
NTR Arts released the trailer of their upcoming Telugu-language fantasy action film Bimbisara starring Nandamuri Kalyan Ram in the lead role. The two-minutes-39-second trailer seems to be riffing off on its style from SS Rajamouli’s Bahubali franchise. The trailer introduces us to emperor Bimbisara who seems to be ruling his land with an iron fist. However, the film is also set in modern times and follows the reincarnation of the king. The film is written and directed by Vashist and also stars Catherine Tresa, Samyuktha Menon, Warina Hussain, Vennela Kishore, Brahmaji and Srinivasa Reddy. Bimbisara is set to arrive in theatres on August 5.
GodFather
Ram Charan’s Konidela Production released the first look of the much-awaited film GodFather starring Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi as a mafia-turned politician. The political thriller is the official Telugu remake of Mohanlal’s superhit 2019 release Lucifer. GodFather is directed by Mohan Raja and its music has been composed by Thaman S. It has been co-produced by R.B. Choudhary under his production banner Super Good Films. Bollywood star Salman Khan is set to appear in a cameo in this film. In the first look video, the 66-year-old Chiranjeevi is seen getting out of a black luxury car in a black Pathan suit and black shades. GodFather is set to release on Dussehra 2022.
Tamilrockerz
SonyLIV released the teaser of their upcoming Tamil web series Tamilrockerz. This is the first-ever web series from AVM Productions and directed by Arivazhagan. The series stars Tamil stars Arun Vijay, Vani Bhojan and Ishwarya Menon in pivotal roles. Vinodhini, G.Marimuthu, Tharun Kumar, Vinod Sagar, Sharath Ravi, Kaakamuttai Ramesh, Kakkamuttai Vignesh and Ajit Joshy will also be seen in the series.
