Bloody Daddy
Jio Studios on Friday unveiled the official teaser of its upcoming action film Bloody Daddy starring Shahid Kapoor in an all-new action hero avatar. Directed by Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai helmer Ali Abbas Zafar, the film also features Diana Penty, Sanjay Kapoor, Ronit Bose Roy, Rajeev Khandelwal, Vivan Bhathena, Zeishan Quadri, Ankur Bhatia, Mukesh Bhhatt and Sartaaj Kakkar.
The one-minute-15-second-long teaser shows Shahid’s suit-clad character go on a killing spree inside a lavish casino. The clip then introduces us to various other characters. We also get glimpses of Sanjay Kapoor, Ronit Roy, Diana Penty and Rajiv Khandelwal.
Blood Daddy will be streaming on Jio Cinema from June 9.
Organ Trail
Paramount Movies dropped the official trailer of its upcoming period action film Organ Trail on Thursday late evening. Directed by Meg Turner, it stars Zoé De Grand Maison, Olivia Applegate, Clé Bennett and Sam Trammell in important roles.
The one-minute-53-second-long trailer shows a young Abigale Archer and her family fall victim to a ruthless gang while making their way across the Oregon Trail in the Montana winter during the 1870s. Now Abigale has to fight for her survival and rescue a family horse from a gang of bloodthirsty bandits.
The Last Voyage of the Demeter
Universal Pictures have shared the official trailer of its upcoming supernatural horror film The Last Voyage of the Demeter. Directed by André Øvredal, the movie is an adaptation of The Captain's Log, a chapter from the 1897 Bram Stoker novel Dracula. The film stars Corey Hawkins, Aisling Franciosi, Liam Cunningham and David Dastmalchian.
The two-minute-34-second-long trailer chronicles the story of the merchant ship Demeter, which was chartered to carry private cargo —fifty unmarked wooden crates— from Carpathia to London. Strange events befall the doomed crew as they attempt to survive the voyage, stalked each night by the merciless presence of Dracula.
The Last Voyage of the Demeter will arrive in cinemas on August 11.
DD Returns
Think Music India on Friday released the official teaser of its upcoming Tamil-language horror film DD Returns. Directed by S. Prem Anand, the film stars Santhanam, Surbhi, Redin Kingsley, Maran, Pradeep Rawat, Masoom Shankar, Fesi Vijayan, Motta Rajendran, Munishkanth, Dheena, Bipin, Thanga Durai, Deepa, Saidai Sethu and Manasi.
The one-minute-36-second-long teaser shows the main characters arriving at a haunted house where strange occurrences take place. The clip shows Santhanam’s character running away from something and opening a door that leads to a ditch. He somehow survives by hanging on to the handle of the door.
